On the 30.10.2009 started the action for cleaning of Mavrovo Lake from fisherman nets and other waste with aim for protection of the flora and fauna, specially the Mavrovo frout and crabs.
The activities were planned to be realized in the weekends starting from 30.10 till 22.11.2009, before the spawning of the frout. At this period they are very stirred into action, so the leftovers from the nests it’s a real treat for them. The waste removal will take place on the coast of the whole Lake up to 10 meters from the coast and 15 depths.
